Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section but I did not see a Clark section
I have a Clark TMG 15S electric forklift Serial No. Tmg248-2007-9570 KF
The problem I’m having is it will not go into foward or reverse. Normally when I put it in gear I hear the motor run and the power steering starts working. As of right now the the motor will not run, the power steering does not work and will not move forward or reverse. However the lift controls still work as well as the side shift. I do have a error code on the display that shows (- 01) with the Red wrench light on for service.
I have already checked the parking brake and seat switches, they are both working. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but all the problems started after I transported it on a carhauler down a pretty rough road. Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to fixaforklift!!

Sound like you have a bad contactor, that would be my next diagnosis in question, I can walk you through on how to check a contacter since that is the heart of all your issues let me know thanks

Battery is a little low but should still want to operate,
You will need a volt meter, on voltage setting put the black lead onto the negative cable of the battery by stabbing through the cable or probing it,
With the red positive cable check for voltage coming from the battery to the main contactor, with the truck on the ON position, you should have battery voltage on the cables attached onto the contactor, and the two small cables underneath the contactor itself

I’m getting the same voltage to all connections on the contactor except for one of the small connectors with the flat head screw the wire is yellow and red. The yellow/red wire connection is only getting 1.14 v

Sorry for the delay I'm trying to get a wiring schematic for this, I really believe that you need to have battery voltage on those two small wires let me keep looking

Okay I found out -01 is parking brake applied, terminal 6 on controller, so check the parking brake switch, make you you apply it when off and make sure the switch is clicking. This is straight from clark

Single digits codes are operator error, -01 is parking brake not applied when trying to turn on, -02 is pedal applied when trying to turn on truck

It’s ok im grateful for you taking the time to help me
Do you think it has something to do with the swat switch? The reason I ask is because it doesn’t seem to make a difference when I close the circuit with a jumper wire or beak the circuit, because the indicator light comes on for the parking brake when I break the circuit for it

You can also jump the parking switch to act as if it was a switch by bypassing the parking brake switch and connecting both wires together that would mean parking brake switch on, off would be if you disconnect the jumper
